Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous banquet serving experience is a plus
- experience in customer service is preferred
- knowledge of banquet service standards and procedures
- strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- ability to set up event spaces according to specifications
- understanding of safe food handling practices
- knowledge of beverage service and responsible alcohol service
- proficiency in table setting techniques
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- basic cash handling skills
- familiarity with POS systems
- certification in food safety or responsible alcohol service is preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages up to 25 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Provides exceptional banquet service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
- sets up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- serves food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner
- practices safe food handling techniques to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination
- offers beverage service, including taking orders, preparing drinks, and serving responsibly
- ensures tables are properly set with appropriate silverware, glassware, and centerpieces
- communicates effectively with guests and other team members to ensure seamless service
- collaborates with banquet staff to ensure efficient event execution
- handles cash and processes payments accurately using POS systems
- operates POS systems to record orders and process payments
