This role is a full-time Banquet Server position within one of Concord's managed hotel venues. Banquet Servers at Concord play a crucial role in the success of various events including receptions, meetings, trainings, and reunions. These events are significant opportunities to showcase the venue's excellence and attract repeat business through impeccable service. The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering meals with friendly, responsive customer service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests. This position requires team players who are passionate about service, capable of working efficiently, and eager to contribute to a positive team environment. Training is provided for buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services in alignment with Concord's high standards. Key duties include greeting guests, accommodating their needs, delivering food and beverages, assisting fellow servers during busy times, and ensuring the dining experience meets or exceeds guest expectations.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers
  • greet guests and be responsible for accommodating all guests' needs at the attendance of an event
  • participate in good communication with guests with questions regarding the menu
  • deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests
  • assist other servers during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests
  • learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services (training provided) to RCGR standards
  • anticipate guests' needs and monitor the guest's dining experience to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • setup, execution, and clean-up for an event
  • perform side work to prepare for upcoming events
  • maintain clean service areas at all times
  • maintain a professional and personable appearance
  • perform other duties as assigned
