This opportunity is with a distinguished Food and Beverage department, where the role of Banquet Server is vital to ensuring exceptional guest experiences during banquets, events, and special occasions. The Banquet Server is responsible for numerous functions that directly contribute to the success of events hosted at the venue. From assisting in the setup of banquet spaces—arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations—to efficiently serving plated meals, buffet items, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages, the role demands attention to detail and commitment to quality. The server must engage guests to ensure a positive experience, promptly accommodate requests, and communicate effectively with management to resolve any concerns. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 1+ years experience as a banquet server waiter waitress or similar role
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years experience as a banquet server waiter waitress or similar role
- 2+ years experience in a high volume hospitality or fine dining atmosphere preferred
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a positive attitude
- assist with setting up banquet spaces including arranging tables chairs linens place settings and decorations according to event specifications
- engage with guests to ensure a positive experience respond to and accommodate requests promptly and communicate with the banquet manager about guests concerns
- efficiently serve plated meals buffet items hors doeuvres and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner maintaining professionalism and attentiveness throughout the event
- understand the variety of drinks served at events including alcoholic and non alcoholic options their proper serving techniques and the ability to recommend pairings with meals or occasions
- assist with the cleanup and breakdown of the banquet area after events including removing table settings packing decorations and properly storing equipment
- work closely with the kitchen bar and banquet manager to ensure smooth event execution
- other duties as assigned
