Job Requirements
- Alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
- Food safety certification preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and move trays, tables, chairs, and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work on feet throughout event shifts
- Work performed in banquet rooms, outdoor event spaces, and other club venues
Job Qualifications
- Prior banquet, catering, or restaurant service experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed event instructions and timelines
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Private club or event venue experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide courteous, professional, and attentive service to members and guests during banquets, private events, and club functions
- Assist with event set-up and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, service stations, and décor as directed
- Serve plated meals, buffets, passed appetizers, and beverages according to event specifications and service timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional event space throughout service
- Follow event-specific service standards, timelines, and instructions provided by banquet or event leadership
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and event teams to ensure seamless service execution
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns during events
