The Banquet Server position at Bear Creek Country Club is a pivotal role responsible for delivering polished, efficient, and professional food and beverage service during a wide range of events like club functions, private parties, weddings, tournaments, and exclusive member programs. This role calls for exceptional teamwork, keen attention to detail, and the ability to uphold stringent service standards within a fast-paced, high-energy event environment. Starting May 1, 2026, the Banquet Server will be an integral part of the events team, assisting in everything from set-up to breakdown, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and that members and guests experience exceptional service delivery at all times. This role demands a professional demeanor, clear communication skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs proactively while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently throughout the event.

Compensation for this position is $22 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role in contributing to the overall success and member satisfaction at Bear Creek Country Club. Job Requirements

  • Alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
  • food safety certification preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift, carry, and move trays, tables, chairs, and equipment up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work on feet throughout event shifts
  • work performed in banquet rooms, outdoor event spaces, and other club venues

Job Qualifications

  • Prior banquet, catering, or restaurant service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide courteous, professional, and attentive service to members and guests during banquets, private events, and club functions
  • assist with event set-up and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, service stations, and décor as directed
  • serve plated meals, buffets, passed appetizers, and beverages according to event specifications and service timelines
  • maintain a clean, organized, and professional event space throughout service
  • follow event-specific service standards, timelines, and instructions provided by banquet or event leadership
  • communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and event teams to ensure seamless service execution
  • anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns during events
