The Catering Services Worker role at Aramark is a vital position within the event operations team that focuses on supporting and executing catering orders and events seamlessly. This role involves a range of responsibilities from event setup through to clean up, including transporting equipment, food, and supplies; setting up chairs, tables, buffet lines; serving guests during events; and cleaning up afterward. The Catering Services Worker plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, organized environment throughout the event. Physically active, the position requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in catering or food service desirable
- ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- ability to work flexible, event-based hours
- must complete food handling and alcohol service training
- adhere to company dress code
- physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- previous customer service experience preferred
- previous catering experience preferred
- demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- must follow the required dress code as assigned
- must be available to work event-based hours
- must be able to complete food handling and alcohol service training as required
Job Duties
- set up catering and event service according to client/customer requests and banquet event order
- transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
- set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in banquet event order
- replenish food and beverage products during events
- maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
- pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service
- break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
- provide excellent customer service to all guests
- follow safety policies and procedures
