The Banquet Server role at Oak View Group is essential in enhancing guest experiences during events by providing professional, efficient, and attentive food and beverage service. This position requires the server to work closely with kitchen and event staff to ensure timely delivery of courses and maintain high standards of hospitality and event execution. Banquet Servers are responsible not only for serving guests but also for setting up banquet spaces according to event specifications, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event space, and resetting rooms for future use.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- minimum one year of experience in events, banquets or restaurants
- ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- basic arithmetic knowledge
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach out with body, arms or legs
- punctual with consistent attendance
- ability to respond to customer complaints or inquiries
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred
- minimum of one year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred
- ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray
- ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- knowledge of basic arithmetic
- must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach out with the body, arms and/or legs
- must be punctual with consistent attendance
- must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies
Job Duties
- Reads and understands banquet event orders
- provides fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with standards of service
- initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met
- setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with standards of service
- maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations
- maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner
- participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items
