Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to balance and carry large trays weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capability to clean banquet areas, organize stock, and restock trays
- Must perform in environments with varying crowd sizes and noise levels
- Must stand 10% and walk 90% of the time
- Frequent bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, and reaching overhead required
- Ability to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural, and visual cues
- Must handle fast-paced environment with constant customer contact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior banquet food service experience
- Minimum 2 years of food server experience preferred
- Knowledge of table service procedures and etiquette
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience carrying large trays and using chafing dishes, plate warmers, coffee urns, and hot boxes
Job Duties
- Provide timely, friendly, and courteous service
- Introduce oneself and greet guests at assigned area
- Obtain entrée orders when necessary and communicate appropriately
- Deliver prepared food orders to guests observing service standards
- Responsible for service of assigned area
- Take drink orders and serve wine properly
- Maintain assigned area neat, clean, and organized
- Follow uniform guidelines and appearance standards
- Assist in all aspects of Food and Beverage operations when necessary
