Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers Course within 30 days of hire
- Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server’s License
- Must be able to pass a stringent background investigation
- Must undergo pre-employment and random drug screening
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and push or pull 100 lbs
- Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
- One year food or beverage service experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift and balance heavy trays above shoulder
- Maintains highest standard of personal hygiene
- Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Job Duties
- Serve at food and beverage functions in accordance with banquet event orders, banquet service policies, and banquet management instruction
- Provide every guest with friendly, professional, courteous and timely service
- Greet guests at assigned tables and assist in setting banquet rooms with proper linen, silverware, china and glassware
- Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
- Bus (remove, replace, and clear) during and after service, assist in clearing and resetting banquet rooms
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure proper directives are understood
- Complete computer-assisted training as required
- Return all equipment to their proper storage area and maintain cleanliness and organization
- Report to work punctually with regular attendance in accordance with attendance policy
- Perform additional job-related functions as assigned
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the highest degree of service to guests
- Serve as initial point of contact for guest inquiries, demonstrate empathy and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered
- Build relationships with guests based on respect and confidence while maintaining a friendly demeanor
