Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Ability to carry food trays and plates with expertise and balance

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred
  • Equivalent experience may be substituted
  • Work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred

Job Duties

  • Refill all drinks and beverages
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables and return to kitchen or breakdown station
  • Remove and replace table linens and service settings as required
  • Clean and arrange work stations, chairs, and table pieces
  • Refill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, and condiment containers
  • Provide menu descriptions to customers, and answer questions regarding preparation
  • Accurately memorize or take note of special orders from customers
  • Relay orders to the chef or kitchen
  • Prepare beverages for customers and serve wine
  • Serve meals to customers or direct customers to buffets
  • Observe customers to determine what else may be needed
  • Perform other duties as required
