As a non-exempt, hourly position, the role offers a competitive salary ranging between $20 and $21 per hour complemented by an attractive benefits package.\n\nThe Banquet Server role falls within the Food & Beverage department and is critical to delivering the highest standards of catering service to guests at various events. This position demands hands-on service delivery where professional conduct, guest satisfaction, and attention to detail are paramount. The banquet server will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and Banquet Captain and will be responsible for preparing and setting up event rooms, arranging place settings, handling banquet equipment and accompaniments such as garnishes and beverages, and providing courteous customer service throughout each event. The server will also assist with cleaning duties post-event and must adhere to strict grooming standards and company policies. An essential function of this role involves teamwork and communication, including proactive attendance at pre-function meetings to understand event specifics, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and effective handling of guest inquiries or complaints by reporting them to supervisory staff.\n\nTo succeed in this position, candidates must possess at least six months of experience in a service-oriented environment, have a solid understanding of catering terminology and services, and demonstrate strong guest service skills. Being able to get along well with others, respond promptly to instructions, and maintain a high-energy and enthusiastic approach while performing duties is crucial. Job Duties

  • Reports for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time
  • Follows instructions for each event as given by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain
  • Assists with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event
  • Assists with preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads
  • Assists with cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc
  • Assists with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary
  • Prepares tables with place settings as instructed by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain
