The company is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovative service and dedicated hospitality professionals. The organization prides itself on its team-driven and values-based culture, offering not only top-tier accommodations but also a rewarding work environment that fosters career growth and employee well-being.

Currently, Hotel Equities is seeking a remarkable Banquet Server for the Delta by Marriott in Fargo, ND. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the success of banquet and catering events by providing warm, knowledgeable service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reassures guests they have made the right choice to stay and celebrate with the hotel. The Banquet Server is responsible for the professional setup, service, and breakdown of assigned functions in a safe and accident-free manner.

This role requires attention to detail and adherence to company grooming and appearance standards, including wearing a clean, wrinkle-free uniform, a DoubleTree Name Tag, and the required footwear. Banquet Servers must be adept at reading Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and possess comprehensive knowledge of the equipment and tools necessary to complete the setup for each event. Responsibilities include setting tables uniformly with the correct equipment, preparing and maintaining buffet stations with appealing food presentation, and ensuring overall banquet areas remain neat, clean, and ready for subsequent functions.

The Banquet Server works closely with the Banquet Captain to set up and break down buffet and special food service tables, efficiently serves guests following established food and beverage service guidelines, and completes all necessary paperwork related to events or functions. During slower periods, servers are expected to organize and restock products or assist with preparations for upcoming events. All equipment must be properly handled, wiped down, and stored to maintain a professional banquet environment. Additionally, proper disposal and storage of leftover food items must be coordinated with chefs following established procedures.

Ideal candidates for this role will have experience with luxury or branded hospitality standards such as those defined by Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt. The position demands physical capability for lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, as well as strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and staff. The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

By joining Hotel Equities as a Banquet Server at the Delta by Marriott Fargo, employees become part of a company that values teamwork, offers competitive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and holiday pay, same-day pay, employee assistance programs, and opportunities for career advancement through management training programs. Employees also benefit from reduced room rates throughout the hotel portfolio and a variety of third-party perk programs. Those passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional guest service will find this an exciting opportunity to grow and succeed in the hospitality industry.
