Job Requirements
- dependable transportation available
- ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
- able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
- able to work in a restrictive space/environment
- eyesight enabling vision both near and far
- comfortable using a step stool or ladder
- able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours
- able to handle heat and stress
- finger dexterity for operating equipment
- must speak in a clear understandable voice
- basic English proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding
- knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
- maintain confidentiality of business functions
- responsible for safety and security of guests, associates, and hotel assets
- organized and honest with an outgoing personality
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in banquet or food service preferred
- knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- commitment to uphold company culture and values
Job Duties
- provide personalized friendly service to each and every guest
- serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in conjunction with local licensing/liquor regulations
- have extensive knowledge of menu specials and all products
- ensure food and beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner
- return to each table periodically to ascertain whether additional items are desired
- receive payment from guests and follow established procedures for accounting for payments
- complete all required brand specific, vision university, and health and safety training
