The part-time Banquet Server position at Interlachen Country Club is an essential part of the Main Clubhouse Food and Beverage Team. This role plays a vital role in delivering high-quality service and creating memorable dining experiences for members, their families, and guests. Banquet Servers are responsible for ensuring flawless service by attentively addressing the needs of guests, taking and processing orders promptly, and maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hospitality. The position does not require previous experience as the club offers comprehensive training for candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Job Requirements

Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
May be required to work in the heat and sun for periods of time
Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
May be required to carry and balance loaded tray
May be required to climb step stools of a height of 3 feet
Must be capable of working under pressure
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Job Qualifications

Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow in hospitality
Ability to communicate effectively with members and guests
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Capable of working under pressure
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Addresses members and guests with friendly and courteous attitude at all times
Takes food and beverage order and correctly enters it into the POS system in a timely manner
Is familiar with and able to effectively communicate specials and Chef’s featured items
Ensures tables are correctly set for each meal period, private party, or event
Completes any sidework such as polishing silverware and glasses, folding napkins, etc.
