The Banquet Server role at Aramark is pivotal to the successful execution of catering orders and events. This position involves assisting the event operations team by supporting all phases of an event from setup to cleanup. The primary responsibilities include preparing event spaces by setting up seating, tables, buffet lines, and other necessary equipment in line with banquet event orders. The Banquet Server is responsible for transporting food, drinks, and supplies to designated event locations, ensuring that guest service during events is outstanding, and maintaining food service areas clean and hygienic. Throughout the event, Banquet Servers replenish food and beverages as needed and oversee the efficient clearing and breakdown of event sites after services conclude.

Banquet Servers must adhere to safety policies and protocols to maintain a secure environment, comply with uniform standards, and complete all mandatory training related to food handling and alcohol service. The role involves physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, making physical endurance and a professional demeanor key attributes for success. Candidates are expected to have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility in scheduling, especially the ability to work evenings and weekends, is also required.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to perform physical duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • set up catering and event services according to customer and banquet event directives
