Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in providing food services, facilities management, and uniform services to a diverse range of clients across 15 countries. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, Aramark proudly serves millions of guests every day, focusing on delivering exceptional experiences that positively impact communities and promote sustainability. The company's foundation is deeply rooted in service and purpose, driving each employee to contribute meaningfully to the organization's mission. Aramark fosters an inclusive and equitable work environment, ensuring equal employment opportunity and valuing diversity among its workforce. The company respects all individuals and prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.

The Banquet Server role at Aramark is central to the successful execution of catering services and events. This position supports the event operations team by assisting in setup, coordinating the transportation of food and supplies, delivering outstanding guest service during events, and managing post-event cleanup. The role demands physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all aspects of event service run smoothly and efficiently. Banquet Servers are responsible for arranging event setups according to the banquet event order, which includes organizing seating, tables, buffet lines, and other necessary equipment. Throughout the event, they monitor food and beverage levels, replenishing as needed, while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

In addition to the logistical responsibilities, banquet servers must provide exceptional customer service to all event guests, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. They must adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures to ensure the security and well-being of guests and staff. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as events often occur during evenings and weekends. The company supports employees with training in food handling and alcohol service to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Aramark recognizes the physical demands of the Banquet Server position, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking. Employees are expected to comply with uniform policies and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently. With a strong emphasis on professional appearance and conduct, Aramark encourages employees to present themselves with pride while upholding company standards.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and event management, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Aramark's comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees includes protection for medical, dental, and vision expenses, support for work-life balance, and additional perks such as retirement savings plans (401k), parental leave, and disability insurance. Whether seeking career development, a sense of belonging, or a rewarding workplace, Aramark is committed to helping employees reach their full potential through meaningful work and professional growth.
