We are currently seeking enthusiastic and professional Banquet Servers to join our dynamic team at Ashton Garden Houston West, one of our distinguished locations. This role is an essential part of the event execution team and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of weddings and events by delivering top-notch service to clients and their guests. This position involves direct interaction with guests, maintaining a polished and hospitable demeanor while supporting the smooth operational flow of each event.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for setting up banquet areas according to event specifications, including the arrangement of tables and chairs. You will greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, serve food and beverages in both plated and buffet styles, and respond promptly to guest needs to guarantee a high level of satisfaction. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event space is vital, as is executing closing duties such as clearing tables and breaking down banquet areas after events. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with the culinary and planning teams, as well as with fellow servers, to ensure seamless execution of each celebration.

This part-time position requires availability on weekends and during events, which is when the venue experiences its busiest periods. Walters Wedding Estates offers a competitive compensation package, including a 401k plan with a 4% match, contributing to the long-term financial wellbeing of its employees. The ideal candidate brings at least one year of relevant experience in hospitality or banquet service, holds applicable licenses such as TABC and Food Handlers for Texas, and possesses the physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
