Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in banquet or event service preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely
Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays

Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
Experience with banquet service equipment and understanding of event service requirements
Flexibility to work varied hours as dictated by event schedules including nights weekends and holidays

Effective problem-solving skills capable of addressing issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Detailed-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of event presentation and cleanliness

Job Duties

Provide comprehensive service to guests including serving meals and beverages and ensuring guest needs are met with courtesy and professionalism
Prepare event spaces for gatherings by setting up tables arranging decorations and organizing seating as per event plans
Manage the cleanliness of event areas before during and after functions including table clearing and area tidying
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of events address guest concerns swiftly and adjust service according to guest feedback
Handle banquet equipment safely and proficiently ensuring proper setup and breakdown of event materials
