The role of Banquet Staff at Legends Global is a pivotal one within the Food and Beverage department. As an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Chef and Club Manager, the Banquet Staff member is responsible for the physical set up and servicing of catered events. This role requires attention to sanitation, adherence to service standards, and following detailed catering function orders to ensure the smooth execution of events. The Banquet Staff must respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, providing professional and courteous service that exceeds guest expectations. Primary duties include setting up tables, chairs, glassware, silverware, and dinnerware, maintaining cleanliness and organization in catering areas, serving guests during events, and breaking down setups after events. The position demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure during busy periods, and requires strong teamwork skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a positive attitude. This on-call role necessitates availability for extended and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, making flexibility and adaptability essential qualities. Candidates with prior experience in food and beverage are preferred, although motivation and enthusiasm are equally valued. The Banquet Staff position is critical to maintaining the high standards and seamless guest experience that Legends Global is known for in the live event industry.

Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • at least one year experience in food and beverage preferred
  • ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods
  • able to lift 25 pounds

  • able to work extended and irregular hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Obtain assigned workstation at beginning of shift
  • set up tables, chairs, and table settings for catered events as assigned by manager
  • set all glassware, silverware, dinnerware, and additional table necessities
  • ensure catered areas are clean, sanitary, and organized
  • serve guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
  • break down tables after events
  • respond promptly to guest needs and assist as necessary
