The role of Banquet Staff at Legends Global is a pivotal one within the Food and Beverage department. As an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Chef and Club Manager, the Banquet Staff member is responsible for the physical set up and servicing of catered events. This role requires attention to sanitation, adherence to service standards, and following detailed catering function orders to ensure the smooth execution of events. The Banquet Staff must respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, providing professional and courteous service that exceeds guest expectations. Primary duties include setting up tables, chairs, glassware, silverware, and dinnerware, maintaining cleanliness and organization in catering areas, serving guests during events, and breaking down setups after events. The position demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure during busy periods, and requires strong teamwork skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a positive attitude. This on-call role necessitates availability for extended and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, making flexibility and adaptability essential qualities. Candidates with prior experience in food and beverage are preferred, although motivation and enthusiasm are equally valued.
