Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
  • Must maintain valid alcohol-service certification like TIPS or TEAM
  • Food handler certification may be required
  • Ability to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
  • Open availability preferred for varying shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to provide professional and attentive service
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Certification in TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service training
  • Food handler certification may be required depending on local regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide food and beverage services to guests during catered events
  • Support various service styles including buffets, plated meals, and passed service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
  • Clear tables, reset place settings, and uphold presentation standards
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown under supervision
  • Frequently lift and move items up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Attend scheduled shifts on time and perform other duties as assigned
