The Banquet Server is responsible for providing food and beverage service during a broad range of catered events, including meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions. Banquet Servers operate under the guidance of a Banquet Captain and Banquet Supervisor and play a critical role in ensuring that events run smoothly from setup through service to breakdown. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure. Banquet Servers must be adaptable to varying shifts that include different days, hours, and some weekends or holidays, with specific scheduling details provided during the interview phase.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas throughout events, efficiently clearing and resetting tables, and upholding high presentation standards to ensure a pleasant guest experience. Physical stamina is important as servers will frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 50 pounds.
