Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights
- Good communication skills
- Team player attitude
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in banquet or food service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of beverage service including wine and alcoholic drinks
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
- Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
- Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Open wine and take drink orders
- Remove each round of plates, replenish utensils, and keep drink glasses full
- Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks
- Assists with bartending when necessary
