The role of Banquet Server at Spokane Tribe Casino is a vital position within its food and beverage service team. This role involves presenting food and beverages to guests with a focus on impeccable service and guest satisfaction. The Banquet Server supports a range of functions including banquets, meetings, and food and beverage events hosted in the casino’s banquet and training rooms. Candidates for this position will find themselves engaged in diverse tasks that include bartending duties following standard recipes and measurements, setting up and tearing down equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet areas. This position requires excellent communication skills, flexibility to work various shifts, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

As a Banquet Server, you will be expected to uphold the casino’s mission, vision, and values, providing service that meets established policies and event specifications. Your role will include creating positive guest relations by engaging guests and team members with a professional and friendly demeanor. Efficiency, health and safety awareness, and compliance with regulatory standards such as alcohol safety and food handling are essential components of day-to-day responsibilities. You will also be required to use P.O.S. systems proficiently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Employment in this role includes a regulatory and compliance condition that candidates must be at least 21 years old and must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License either through state or tribal authorities. The position typically requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent and restaurant or deli experience as preferred. Certifications such as the Washington State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit and MAST certification are mandatory. Overall, the Banquet Server contributes significantly to the successful execution of events and overall guest experience by ensuring that service standards and safety regulations are consistently met. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • obtain and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit
  • obtain and maintain a valid MAST certification
  • ability to secure and maintain STATE or TRIBAL Gaming License
  • tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
  • demonstrate efficient and healthy work habits
  • practice, support and maintain the Mission, Vision and Values of Spokane Tribe Casino

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Present food and beverages to guests
