Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in banquet or catering preferred
Must meet local age requirements for alcohol service
Valid certification for alcohol service such as TIPS or TEAM
Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Open availability for varying shifts
Punctual and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
Maintain valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
Comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Duties

Provide food and beverage services to guests attending catered events
Support various service styles including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed service
Participate in event setup, service execution, and breakdown under the direction of Banquet Captain and Supervisor
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events
Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist in maintaining presentation standards
Frequently lift and move items up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
