Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banquet or catering preferred
- Must meet local age requirements for alcohol service
- Valid certification for alcohol service such as TIPS or TEAM
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Open availability for varying shifts
- Punctual and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
- Maintain valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- Comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
- Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations
Job Duties
- Provide food and beverage services to guests attending catered events
- Support various service styles including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed service
- Participate in event setup, service execution, and breakdown under the direction of Banquet Captain and Supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events
- Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist in maintaining presentation standards
- Frequently lift and move items up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
