Job Duties
- be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees at all times
- perform preparatory tasks and side-work duties to ensure prompt and efficient guest service
- read and understand the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and be familiar with the function's menu
- serve guests according to hotel standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- respond to guest problems, complaints, and accidents and communicate with management as necessary
- set all tables according to hotel standards
- maintain the banquet storeroom in neat and orderly manner, stocked with all necessary supplies
- clean up banquet space after function completion and properly store and restock equipment and supplies
- prepare rooms according to BEO and meal functions
- follow all money handling procedures when serving guests
