Job Description

Pyramid Global Hospitality is a renowned leader in the hospitality industry, dedicated to putting people first. With a global presence spanning over 230 properties worldwide, the company has built a reputation for fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment that champions diversity, growth, development, and employee wellbeing. Pyramid Global Hospitality believes that a successful business begins with satisfied and engaged employees, which is why the company prioritizes its People First culture. This approach is evident in the comprehensive employee benefits, ongoing training programs, and meaningful relationships the company cultivates with its staff.

Operating a diverse portfolio of properties, Pyramid Global Hospitality provides its team members with unique opportunities to advance their careers within a vibrant and dynamic industry. One of the premiere properties under its umbrella is the OKANA Resort and Indoor WaterPark, situated along the scenic Oklahoma River in the lively Horizons District near downtown Oklahoma City. This property features more than 400 guest rooms and suites, including premium riverfront accommodations, a dynamic indoor waterpark, multiple dining options, and 30,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces. The resort offers an exciting and rewarding career path for hospitality professionals seeking to grow in an inspiring environment.

The role available is for a Banquet Server at the OKANA Resort and Indoor WaterPark. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent guest experiences in a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial part in executing banquet functions by ensuring food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include setting banquet rooms according to the Event Order specifications, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and interacting professionally with guests and event attendees to create memorable experiences.

Joining the Banquets team at OKANA means becoming an Experience Curator—someone who crafts personalized, over-the-top experiences that continually impress guests. As part of the opening team of this world-class resort, you will have the chance to contribute to a distinctive atmosphere that supports both personal and professional growth. Pyramid Global Hospitality is committed to employee appreciation, development, and success within a festive and people-first culture.

This role demands excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and physical capability to handle the duties involved, such as lifting trays and managing banquet setups. A high school diploma is required, and previous banquet serving experience is preferred, although newcomers to the hospitality industry seeking to build their careers are encouraged to apply. The compensation for this role ranges from $5 per hour, though actual compensation packages depend on various candidate-specific factors such as experience, certifications, and location.

Benefits abound at Pyramid Global Hospitality, including comprehensive health and retirement plans, paid time off, unique perks like on-site wellness programs, local discounts, employee hotel rates, and a company culture that truly values and supports its people. If you want to start or advance your hospitality career with a respected global leader that puts people first, Pyramid Global Hospitality and the OKANA Resort & Indoor WaterPark offer an exceptional opportunity.
