Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state laws
Must have valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work varying shifts including days and evenings
Open availability preferred

Job Qualifications

Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
Comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Duties

Provide food and beverage services to guests attending catered events including meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions
Support various service styles from casual buffets to formal plated meals and passed service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events
Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with maintaining presentation standards
Frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
Participate in event setup, service execution, and breakdown under the direction of Banquet Captain and Supervisor
