We are currently seeking enthusiastic and professional Banquet Servers to join our team at Walters Wedding Estates. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of weddings and events by providing top-notch service to our clients and their guests. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment and have a passion for creating memorable experiences. Reporting directly to the Event Manager, the Banquet Server will be responsible for setting up banquet areas according to event specifications, greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner, and serving food and beverages efficiently. You will also respond promptly to guest requests, maintain a clean and organized event space throughout the duration of events, and assist with closing duties such as clearing tables and breaking down banquet areas. This position requires close collaboration with the culinary and event planning teams to ensure a seamless execution of timelines and logistics. The role demands physical stamina as it involves standing or walking for 8 to 12 hours and frequently lifting up to 30 pounds. Candidates must have relevant experience, appropriate certifications including TABC and Food Handlers licenses required in Texas, and reliable transportation. This is a part-time position primarily involving weekend shifts and event days, offering an opportunity to work in a beautiful venue with a passionate team and access to benefits such as a 401k plan with a 4 percent match.
