Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Facility or industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of catering services and terminology
  • Strong guest service skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to receive and carry out instructions in a timely manner
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Some travel may be required
  • Able to stand for long periods
  • Must maintain professional appearance
  • Must follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • TABC certification preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
  • Serve food and alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards
  • Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and the facility accurately and in a friendly manner
  • Perform side work during non-busy hours
  • Speak to all guests with enthusiasm at all times
  • Develop relationships with guests
  • Provide the highest level of service in accordance with company standards
  • Identify food orders when ready and deliver items to tables in a timely manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers
  • Follow checklists and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
  • Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes and other pertinent information
  • Continuously increase knowledge of food, beverages and other products and services
  • Ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience
  • Be responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling
  • Report for work in the proper uniform according to the scheduled time
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain
