The Banquet Server position at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center plays a critical role in ensuring that all banquet functions are executed with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction. This hourly, on-call role offers a competitive pay rate of $14.00 per hour and reports directly to the Sales and Events Manager. The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exemplary food and beverage service, which includes setup, service, clearing, and clean-up of banquet events. The role demands a dedicated and service-oriented individual capable of maintaining the center’s high standards while embodying the values and mission of The Salvation Army. This position requires working in a predominantly English-speaking environment, often during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, the role involves direct interaction with event organizers, team members, and guests to ensure seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in banquet or restaurant service, and a strong customer service ethic. Responsibilities extend beyond serving food and beverages to include setting up event spaces, managing inventory and supplies, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards, and upholding professional grooming and uniform policies. The ability to carry heavy trays, work in fast-paced environments, and maintain composure under pressure is essential. The work environment is primarily indoors across various facilities within the Kroc Center, with possible attendance at trainings and conferences locally and on the mainland.
