The position in consideration is a Banquet Server role within Boyd Gaming's catering and event services. The role primarily involves setting up banquet rooms according to specified requirements, ensuring that tables are outfitted with linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware as per the catering specifications. This job requires attentiveness to detail to create an inviting and properly arranged dining environment for events. Banquet Servers are responsible for greeting guests in a warm and courteous manner, offering high levels of customer service while serving food and beverage items either by hand-held trays or buffet carts. The role also includes responsibilities such as preparing and setting up condiments as part of the service experience. Following event completion, banquet servers contribute to breaking down and cleaning the banquet rooms by removing soiled items and resetting the space for future use.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to communicate effectively

Job Duties
- Set up banquet room in accordance with catering specification sheet
- set up table linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware
- greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner
- serve food and beverage items using hand-held trays and/or buffet carts
- prepare and set up condiments
- break down banquet room upon completion of function
- remove soiled items and clean banquet area
