Job Description
Our Property Administrative Specialists play a crucial role within our growing portfolio of Autograph Collection hotels, a distinguished group of four and five-star independent hotels known for their unique, memorable experiences and bold character. The Autograph Collection hotels, part of Marriott International, cater to 'The Individualist' traveler — those who seek more than just a place to stay, but a destination that adds to their personal narrative. With each hotel thoughtfully selected for quality and originality, the work environment here is dynamic and vibrant, offering a perfect blend of cultural diversity and professional growth.
As a Property Administrative Specialist, you will be at the heart of hotel operations, supporting multiple departments including Guest Services, Engineering, and Food & Beverage through various administrative functions. This part-time role requires a versatile and detail-oriented individual who excels in communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the property. Your contributions as the liaison between the Sales Office and clients throughout the event process—from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up—are vital to the successful execution of hotel events.
You'll be responsible for preparing documents using a range of software tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. Your role will involve coordinating with clients and vendors, handling inquiries efficiently, and maintaining professional and courteous communication to reflect the high standards of the Autograph Collection brand. In addition to administrative tasks, supporting safe work practices, adhering to company policies, and maintaining a professional appearance are essential components of this position.
This role demands physical activity, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds. You will also need the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform movements such as reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and stooping. Flexibility and willingness to perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors are required.
Joining Marriott International means becoming part of a global team committed to inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunity. Here, individual backgrounds, talents, and experiences are not just valued but celebrated, creating a workplace where everyone belongs and can thrive. The Autograph Collection fosters an environment where you can do your best work, begin your purpose, and become the best version of yourself within a supportive and innovative hospitality family.
In summary, as a Property Administrative Specialist at Autograph Collection, you will gain invaluable experience working in a high-caliber hospitality setting that celebrates uniqueness and excellence. You will contribute directly to the operational success and guest satisfaction of luxurious hotel properties, enhancing your career development in a part-time role that offers meaningful exposure to the hospitality industry and Marriott's global network.
