Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in banquet or catering food preparation preferred
  • understanding of kitchen safety protocols
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • capability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation for banquets and special events
  • follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area
  • collaborate effectively with kitchen and banquet staff to coordinate timely meal service
  • adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory and stock supplies as needed
  • support the culinary team during high-volume banquet events
