Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and complex task completion skills
- Skills including instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- Flexible to work all shifts including on-call/standby, holidays, nights, and weekend hours
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a banquet set up porter preferred
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and complex task completion skills
- Skills including instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- Flexible to work all shifts including on-call/standby, holidays, nights, and weekend hours
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Execute the preparation, setup, and teardown of banquet areas and meeting spaces including moving furniture and stage platforms, lifting heavy objects such as chairs, tables, and dance floor sections and pushing or pulling carts
- Interact with guests in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards and fire codes from the City of Nevada
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
