This well-regarded on-call part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour and requires flexibility with workdays and shifts, spanning various times throughout the week. The Banquet Porter role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of banquet and catered events, acting as the primary service lead on the floor. Responsibilities include coordinating service execution, directing Banquet Servers and other Porters, and maintaining strong communication between culinary and service teams. This role actively participates in all event phases—setup, service, and breakdown—while prioritizing guest satisfaction and adherence to established banquet event orders (BEOs), timelines, and service standards.

The Banquet Porter is essential in upholding food safety and alcohol service policies and often assists in training new banquet service staff. Physical demands include frequent lifting and moving of items weighing up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. A successful candidate must demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professional service.
