Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior lead or captain banquet or event experience preferred
- Meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
- Maintain necessary alcohol service certification
- Food handler certification may be required
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Punctual attendance and reliable work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior lead or captain experience in banquet or event environment preferred
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
- Maintain valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- Food handler certification may be required based on regulations
Job Duties
- Provide on-floor leadership during banquet and catered events
- Coordinate service execution and direct banquet servers and porters
- Serve as primary lead for assigned events ensuring compliance with Banquet Event Orders, timelines, and service standards
- Participate actively in event setup, service, and breakdown
- Maintain focus on guest satisfaction, communication, and attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and alcohol service policies
- Assist with training and onboarding of banquet service staff
