Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior lead or captain experience preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
- Must maintain valid alcohol service certification
- Food handler certification may be required
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Punctuality and regular attendance
- Flexible availability for varying shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior lead or captain experience in a banquet or event environment preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
- Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations
Job Duties
- Provide direct on-floor leadership during banquet and catered events
- Coordinate service execution and direct Banquet Servers and Banquet Porters
- Ensure service is delivered according to Banquet Event Orders, timelines, and service standards
- Actively participate in event setup, service, and breakdown
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and alcohol service policies
- Assist with training and onboarding of banquet service staff
- Collaborate closely with Banquet Supervisor, culinary team, and service staff to ensure smooth event execution
