Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
Prior lead or captain experience preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
Must maintain valid alcohol service certification
Food handler certification may be required
Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Punctuality and regular attendance
Flexible availability for varying shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
Prior lead or captain experience in a banquet or event environment preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Duties

Provide direct on-floor leadership during banquet and catered events
Coordinate service execution and direct Banquet Servers and Banquet Porters
Ensure service is delivered according to Banquet Event Orders, timelines, and service standards
Actively participate in event setup, service, and breakdown
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and alcohol service policies
Assist with training and onboarding of banquet service staff
Collaborate closely with Banquet Supervisor, culinary team, and service staff to ensure smooth event execution
