This particular opportunity is for a part-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage and Culinary department at Moana Surfrider A Westin Resort & Spa. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.83 to $32.29. The role involves a variety of essential duties contributing to the overall guest experience, including cleaning and maintaining the work environment, organizing supplies, supporting service areas, and assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimal guest service. Employees in this position are responsible for upholding company safety policies, maintaining hygiene standards, managing inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of their assigned areas throughout their shifts.

The role requires physical activity such as lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing various tasks requiring fine motor skills and coordination. Effective communication skills are necessary to interact professionally with guests and coworkers. Job Duties

  • Complete final dismantling by cleaning rooms and storing equipment accordingly
  • complete closing tasks such as storing reusable merchandise, locking doors, and categorizing merchandise
  • organize, stock, and maintain work areas
  • supervise and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of assigned workstations and service areas
  • transport dirty linens to appropriate areas for washing and replenish shelves with clean linens
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day by following continuous cleaning procedures
  • assist other departments as needed to ensure optimal guest service
