Job Description
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is an iconic luxury hotel that beautifully marries Golden Era glamour with contemporary elegance and cutting-edge technology. Established in 1954 and designed by the legendary architect Morris Lapidus, Fontainebleau stands as one of the most architecturally significant buildings on Miami Beach. Situated on the oceanfront along Collins Avenue in the prestigious Millionaire's Row, the hotel offers guests an immersive experience where design, art, music, fashion, and technology come together to create a vibrant and dynamic environment. With a storied history of being the most luxurious hotel in Miami Beach, Fontainebleau continues to uphold its legacy by reinventing the original vision while providing modern luxury and exceptional hospitality.
The role of Bartender at Fontainebleau is a pivotal position that plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience. This position entails preparing and serving cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages with courtesy and efficiency, strictly adhering to the high standards set by the hotel. The bartender is responsible for creating an inviting and pleasant atmosphere for guests, ensuring that every drink served is crafted to perfection. This is a role that combines skill, creativity, and excellent interpersonal abilities. The bartender will set up and maintain the bar area, assist in managing inventory, and ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the shift. Familiarity with event details, such as Banquet Event Orders (BEO), and the ability to work closely with the captain and bar porter are essential. The role requires a readiness to serve guests punctually and an understanding of various beverage recipes and service protocols. Bartenders at Fontainebleau must be knowledgeable about liquor laws and responsible alcohol service, maintaining professionalism and integrity while avoiding any solicitation of gratuities. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a high-volume banquet environment and are passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. Through teamwork and independent work, bartenders contribute to the overall ambiance and success of this historic and luxurious destination.
