Job Description
Delaware North Sportservice is a renowned hospitality and food service company with a storied history and a dynamic presence in multiple sectors including sports venues, national parks, casinos, and restaurants. At the heart of their operations lies a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and cultivating a supportive work environment for its employees. Delaware North has maintained an operation at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, since 2012, delivering top-tier concessions, premium dining, and catering services for the Green Bay Packers and their fans. Their brand also extends to Titletown, where they operate Homefield Pub + Social and offer unique entertainment services such as Topgolf Swing Suites and seasonal activities like sledding and ice skating. This indicates their commitment to diversifying the guest experience and fostering a fun, engaging atmosphere beyond traditional sports events.
As a global family-owned company with over a hundred years of history, Delaware North prioritizes employee growth and career development across its extensive operations. Whether the employee is interested in part-time or full-time work, and regardless of the division — whether it's hospitality, gaming, or retail — Delaware North offers fertile ground for career advancement in environments people love. They pride themselves on providing jobs in iconic locations that contribute to memorable experiences for guests and fulfilling opportunities for staff.
The Banquet Operations Supervisor position at Delaware North’s Lambeau Field operation presents a full-time employment opportunity with an hourly pay of $18.00. This role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of catered events, from training and supervising the catering team to managing operations across multiple event spaces. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining high service standards, coordinating activities among catering staff, and overseeing food presentation and safety procedures. Above all, this role demands a hands-on approach, combining leadership with operational duties to guarantee guests receive exceptional service and that events run smoothly.
In this supervisory position, the candidate will report to the department manager and collaborate closely with catering coordinators, servers, and attendants. Responsibilities include conducting walk-throughs before events to ensure every detail meets company standards, training new staff, assuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and addressing any guest complaints tactfully and professionally. The position involves physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking and standing for lengthy periods, and working in various temperature conditions, from hot kitchen areas to climate-controlled dining rooms.
The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in the service industry, preferably with prior banquet or catering service experience. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are essential, enabling the supervisor to manage multiple employees and complex event setups effectively. They must also maintain keen attention to detail, particularly regarding safety, presentation, and service standards, adhering to Delaware North’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards.
The shifts for this role include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days, with the potential for overtime as needed. Delaware North supports its team members with comprehensive benefits designed to enhance both professional and personal well-being, including competitive pay, flexible schedules, employee discounts, training and development opportunities, and health-related benefits for eligible employees.
By joining Delaware North at Lambeau Field, a candidate becomes part of a legacy company renowned for its dedication to quality hospitality and community engagement. This role not only offers an opportunity to grow professionally within a dynamic team but also to be a key player in serving fans and guests in one of the most iconic sports venues in the United States. This creates an unmatched workplace environment where passion for service meets career development in an exciting setting full of game day energy and hospitality excellence.
