The Banquet Operations Manager position is a crucial leadership role focused on leading top-tier events, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience, and requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate. The role encompasses oversight of all banquet functions, including event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring seamless operations from start to finish. Job Requirements
- Education or experience in hospitality or related field preferred
- Proven leadership experience in banquet or event operations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing for long periods and lifting
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check and reference checks
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in banquet operations, convention services, catering, hospitality, or large-scale event environments
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of coaching, developing and motivating teams
- Strong operational knowledge of event planning, service execution and delivering high quality guest experiences
- Familiarity with Banquet Event Orders and coordinating events according to detailed specifications preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to hospitality excellence, attention to detail, and creating memorable experiences for guests
