Established as a premier hotel and resort brand, Four Seasons is celebrated for its commitment to nurturing employees and fostering an environment where they are empowered to grow both personally and professionally. The company's consistent success is rooted in its people, who bring passion, individuality, and authenticity to their work. Four Seasons' reputation for luxury and impeccable service extends across its worldwide properties, making it a trusted name in the hospitality industry.
The resort location embodies a perfect balance of elevated comfort and refined adventure, designed to offer guests unforgettable experiences supported by world-class amenities. With a team that is both skilled and genuinely committed to thoughtful service, visitors can expect a seamless blend of relaxation and excitement.
In this context, the Banquet Mixologist role is crafted for an energetic and guest-focused professional who thrives in dynamic event settings. This role is pivotal in curating elevated beverage experiences during private functions, celebrations, and resort events. Whether serving at intimate gatherings or large-scale galas, the Banquet Mixologist is responsible for delivering refined and seamless bar service that upholds the Four Seasons standard of excellence.
The Banquet Mixologist ensures top-tier beverage service for banquet events while adhering to the company’s high standards and alcohol service regulations. This includes greeting guests with professionalism and warmth to elevate their experience, preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires maintaining a deep knowledge of all beverages offered, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and recommended pairings. Moreover, the Banquet Mixologist sets up and breaks down beverage stations for events, ensuring that tools, mixers, and garnishes are fully stocked and ready.
Collaboration is key, as the Banquet Mixologist works closely with banquet captains, event managers, and service staff to ensure seamless event execution. Addressing guest concerns or specific requests with diplomacy to exceed expectations is a critical aspect of the role. Maintaining hygiene standards, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service guidelines is mandatory. The Banquet Mixologist may also provide support to additional food and beverage outlets, including assisting with pool bar service as needed. A clean and organized bar environment is maintained throughout the shift to ensure efficiency and a high level of service.
Working at Four Seasons offers competitive compensation, including an hourly wage based on experience, additional gratuities, service charges for banquet events, and expanded overtime opportunities during peak seasons. The benefits package is comprehensive, reflecting the company's commitment to its team members, who enjoy discounted housing, a staff travel program with reduced rates at Four Seasons properties worldwide, and medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees and their dependents. Additional perks include five weeks of paid time off, resort-wide discounts on retail, spa services, and dining, complimentary employee meals, free uniform dry cleaning, and discounted, transferable ski passes. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is expected to meet the demands of this vibrant role.
Ideal candidates for the Banquet Mixologist position have previous bartending experience in luxury resorts, hotels, or upscale event environments. They possess extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current mixology trends and are proficient with MICROS point-of-sale systems or similar restaurant software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, paired with a confident, sociable presence. Physical endurance to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also important. This role suits self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude who can perform well independently or within a team setting. Prior banquet or events experience is preferred, adding value to the candidate's capability to contribute to seamless event service.
