The Banquet Mixologist role at Four Seasons is tailored for an energetic and guest-focused professional who excels in lively event environments. This position plays a crucial role in crafting elevated beverage experiences at a variety of private functions, celebrations, and large-scale resort events. As a Banquet Mixologist, you will represent the Four Seasons standard by providing refined and seamless bar service that enhances the overall guest experience.

Your responsibilities will include greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and recommended pairings. You will also ensure that beverage stations are meticulously set up and broken down, keeping an inventory of all necessary tools, mixers, and garnishes to guarantee smooth service throughout each event.

Collaborating closely with banquet captains, event managers, and service staff, you will help coordinate all beverage-related aspects of each function, ensuring flawless execution and high guest satisfaction. Addressing guest concerns or special requests with diplomacy and a solution-oriented approach is vital to exceeding expectations. Adherence to hygiene standards, safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service guidelines is mandatory to maintain the resort’s commitment to a safe and enjoyable environment.

Additional duties include supporting other food and beverage outlets as needed, such as assisting with pool bar service, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace throughout your shift. Job Requirements

  • minimum age requirement of 21 and legal authorization to work in the united states
  • ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs
  • flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to perform well independently or in a team

Job Qualifications

  • previous bartending experience, preferably in a luxury resort, hotel, or upscale event environment
  • extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current mixology trends
  • proficiency with MICROS point-of-sale systems or similar restaurant software
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident, sociable presence
  • prior banquet or events experience is preferred
