In this role, the Banquet Manager will be responsible for the overall management of banquet operations to achieve set business goals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost control. Key duties involve the meticulous management of food and beverage sales, labor costs, and ensuring seamless banquet event execution. The role requires strong coordination skills to oversee meeting and banquet setups, supervise daily operations, maintain inventory records, manage staffing schedules, and uphold service standards to exceed customer expectations. The manager will also play a vital role in menu planning and pricing, collaborating with the Catering Sales Manager to boost departmental sales, and fostering a professional team environment through comprehensive training and performance reviews.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field, although relevant experience can sometimes substitute formal education. At least two years of experience managing or supervising banquet or food and beverage teams is essential. Also critical are exceptional communication skills, strong leadership capabilities, flexibility, motivation, attention to detail, and proficiency in cash handling and computer use. The hiring process includes interviews, background checks, drug screening, and reference verification, emphasizing the company’s commitment to quality and integrity.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- At least two years of experience as a Banquet Manager or supervising banquet/F&B teams
- Must have a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales and labor costs
- Achieve maximum profitability and over-all success by controlling costs and quality of service
- Completion of BEO's in an accurate and timely fashion
- Produce a weekly schedule for hotel food and beverage staff, according to business levels and labor budgets
- To supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service
- Completion of Banquet Bar Requisitions
- Following of proper purchasing and requisitioning procedures
