Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related area
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage financial and administrative operations
  • knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • ability to conduct team meetings and training
  • skilled in guest relations and conflict resolution

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related field
  • knowledge of banquet operations and event laws
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • experience managing inventory and financial controls
  • ability to motivate and develop teams
  • customer service oriented
  • familiarity with food and wine pairings
  • experience in conducting meetings and training
  • problem-solving and complaint resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Direct and motivate event management team
  • monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities
  • communicate clearly with all event stakeholders
  • identify training opportunities and plan strategies
  • manage banquet operations including supply projections, inventory, and cost control
  • schedule banquet service staff to meet service standards and maximize profits
  • lead banquet teams by setting goals, delegating tasks, and conducting meetings
  • maintain compliance with laws and company standards
  • enhance customer service by setting examples, handling guest feedback and complaints
  • empower employees to provide excellent service
  • oversee human resources activities including safety training, performance feedback, and corrective actions
