Job Requirements

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
  • Experience in all aspects of banquet service
  • 2-3 years assistant banquet manager experience
  • Demonstrated creativity in designing and implementing engaging banquet activities
  • Excellent motivational skills
  • Strong leadership and training abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing complex group events in full-service hotel
  • Proficiency with Marriott systems such as CI/TY, LightSpeed, Power of M

  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure professionalism
  • Schedule employees to maintain service standards while adhering to budgeted labor costs
  • Ensure proper care, security and maintenance of hotel banquet equipment
  • Manage complex group events in full-service hotel settings
  • Design and implement engaging interactive activities during banquets or conferences
  • Provide exceptional knowledge and service to enhance guest experience
