We are currently seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to join our distinguished hospitality team. The Banquet Manager will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of banquet execution, ensuring flawless delivery from initial setup to event breakdown. This role is vital for managing both on-site and off-site events, coordinating with various hotel departments to guarantee an exceptional guest experience and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience managing large teams within banquet operations while maintaining impeccable service standards. You will lead and develop a team that includes banquet captains, servers, bartenders, and support staff, fostering a service culture that consistently exceeds guest expectations. Your leadership will extend to managing multiple concurrent events such as weddings, corporate meetings, conventions, and social functions, showcasing your ability to thrive under pressure and maintain organization.

In addition to team management, you'll oversee logistics related to off-site catering, ensuring smooth transportation, staffing, and execution under our brand standards. You will also be responsible for budgeting oversight related to labor costs, scheduling, payroll, inventory control, and mastering banquet operating expenses. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations is critical, and you will vigilantly monitor these standards as well as maintain banquet equipment and room setups.

Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a track record of managing banquet and catering operations that generate over five million dollars in annual revenue. Experience executing large-scale events hosting more than 1,000 guests is also essential. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills are necessary to excel in this demanding role. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a requirement due to the nature of banquet event scheduling.
