Proudly independent, this hospitality establishment has built its reputation on genuine and caring service, devoted to providing every guest with memorable experiences from the moment they arrive until their departure. The hotel caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from business travelers attending conventions to guests seeking comfortable accommodations with exceptional amenities. The property’s versatile spaces support a wide variety of events, from intimate meetings to large-scale banquets, ensuring personalized attention and professional service throughout each occasion.
This position offers full-time employment with a starting salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience. The role demands flexibility with scheduling, including a combination of days, nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of hotel operations and event management. The primary responsibility is to lead, support, and coach the banquet team by providing hands-on leadership and guidance to ensure seamless execution of events and outstanding guest experiences. As a key member of the management team, this role oversees all aspects of employee life cycle management, such as interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and terminations.
Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with multiple departments, including housekeeping, catering, and culinary teams, coordinating every function’s proper and timely setup according to detailed food, beverage, and meeting specifications. The banquet manager is responsible for managing inventory control of banquet-related items such as linens, liquor, china, silverware, and essential operational supplies, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of all function spaces and banquet service areas. This is a leadership position where setting and upholding professional, friendly, and engaging service expectations are crucial to delivering consistent and flawless event presentations.
