Job Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of banquet or event management experience, preferably in a private club, hotel, or high-end hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Oversee all banquet and event operations from setup through execution and breakdown
- Serve as the primary point of contact during events to ensure a high level of service and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Events/Private Events Director, Culinary Team, and Club Leadership on event planning and execution
- Manage banquet staff scheduling, training, and performance to ensure service standards are met
- Ensure proper room setup, décor, and service flow align with event specifications
- Monitor event timelines and proactively address any service or operational issues
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in all event spaces
- Oversee inventory and ensure proper use and care of banquet equipment and supplies
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing banquet team members
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
