By managing tasks such as transporting and arranging tables, chairs, staging, and event equipment, the Banquet Houseperson sets the stage for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations.

Beyond set-up and breakdown duties, the Banquet Houseperson is tasked with maintaining organized storage areas and service spaces, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the banquet team. Monitoring and reporting any safety hazards is also a vital responsibility, reinforcing Heritage Hotels & Resorts' commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members and guests. In addition, the role requires direct interaction with guests, assisting with their needs and resolving concerns promptly and professionally, which adds a personal touch to the event experience.

Those who join as Banquet Housepersons can expect to be part of a truly people-first culture that values dedication, teamwork, and community pride. This role offers competitive pay along with comprehensive benefits, including a 25% match on 401k contributions, generous employee discounts across all hotels, restaurants, spa, and retail outlets, complimentary meals during shifts, and free employee parking. Heritage Hotels & Resorts also supports employees' career growth by providing opportunities to work across multiple hotel locations, enabling the development of a flexible full-time schedule complete with full benefits.
